Need a supercomputer for a short period of time? A few hours, days maybe? Spin one up dynamically in the cloud, run your jobs and let it spin down. No ongoing cost. Need another tomorrow but a bit different? No problem. Want to run on a different cloud this time because it’s cheaper or faster? You got it.

That’s the dream, right? Though it never seems quite as easy as it’s made out to be.

Come along and have a chat to Flamur Gogolli who has taken off his day job hat and will be speaking on behalf of the Fintech Open Source Foundation (FINOS) a part of the Linux Foundation.

Why FINOS and Flamur? Because they have solved a part of this problem (with input from AWS, Morgan Stanley and HMx Labs) to make doing the above a little bit easier for everyone. And it’s all open source and free to use.
